A CAS, or consolidated account statement, lists all your mutual fund holdings across fund houses in one statement, linked by your PAN.
A consolidated account statement brings together every folio you hold under your PAN, across all fund houses, with the units, NAV and value of each holding.
Who sends it:
It arrives for each month in which you had a transaction, and every six months otherwise. You can also request one at any time, for any period, from CAMS, KFintech or MF Central.
There are two versions:
The detailed version shows each holding's plan and distributor, and it is the starting point for working out capital gains.
One statement of every mutual fund you hold across fund houses, free from CAMS, KFintech or MF Central, and the depository CAS if you have a demat account.
A statement of the gains you realised in a financial year, split into short and long term. Where to download it and what it is used for.
Each fund page has its returns, risk, costs, managers and everything it holds.
