How to download your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS)
One PDF shows every fund you hold, at every fund house, under your PAN.

The Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) lists all your mutual fund holdings across fund houses under your PAN: the folio, the scheme and plan, the units and their value, and, in the detailed version, every transaction. It is free, and it comes from two places.
The CAS from CAMS and KFintech
CAMS and KFintech are the registrars that keep investor records for the fund houses. The CAS from either covers funds serviced by both.
- Open the CAS page on the CAMS or KFintech website, or the statements section of MF Central.
- Choose Detailed, with every transaction in a period you pick, or Summary, with your holdings on a date.
- Enter your PAN and the email registered in your folios, and set a password for the file.
- The statement is emailed to you as a password-protected PDF.
It goes only to the email registered in your folios, which is one reason to keep that email up to date: how to update your mobile and email.
The CAS from NSDL or CDSL
If you have a demat account, the depository that holds it (NSDL or CDSL) emails you a CAS covering your shares and other demat holdings together with your mutual fund folios, under your PAN. It comes every month in which you had a transaction, and every six months when you had none.
What it is used for
- Seeing which distributor, if any, is linked to each holding
- Finding old folios you had lost track of
- Working out your costs and gains from the transaction list in the detailed version
You can import it into a DiscoverMF portfolio.
Questions
What is the password for the CAS file?
For the CAMS and KFintech CAS, it is the password you set on the request. For the depository CAS, the email explains how the password is formed.
Why is one of my funds missing from the CAS?
A folio without your PAN on record, or one where you are not the first holder, may not appear. Ask the fund house to add your PAN to an old folio.
Does the CAS cost anything?
No. It is free from CAMS, KFintech, MF Central and the depositories.
Each fund page has its returns, risk, costs, managers and everything it holds.
This guide explains how things work. It is not investment, tax or legal advice. Rules change; check the fund house's documents, and a qualified adviser for your own case.
