- XIRR
- Your return a year, counting when each instalment went in. Money that went in last month has had less time to grow than money from five years ago.
- Worst fall
- The largest drop from a high to a later low during the period, and how long the mix took to climb back to that high.
- One-year stretches
- The return over every one-year span inside the period. They show how good or bad a single year could be, whichever month you started.
- Set back to the weights
- Each January, the mix is brought back to the shares you chose, so a fund that ran ahead does not grow to dominate it.
- A range ahead
- Many possible futures pieced together from the mix's own past, shown as a range. It is a way to see how wide the outcomes can be, not a forecast.
Results use each fund's NAV and are before tax and exit loads. Past returns, and ranges built from them, do not tell you what will happen. This is a tool for understanding, not a recommendation to buy or sell any fund. See the disclaimer.
